Rose of Jericho - Enchant & Delight

Rose of Jericho

“Also known as the Resurrection plant. During the dry weather the Rose of Jericho will close up into a ball until it has moisture. These plants can last a very long time and can be passed down through the family generations.”

“The plant was thought to be favorable to nativity, and was also called the Rose of the Madonna. It was believed to have bloomed first at Christ's birth, and then closed at the Crucifixion, before blooming once again at Easter. Its other popular name is the Rose of Jericho”
